This website is dedicated to Orias, or Oriax, the 59th demon of the Goetia.
About Orias:
He is a Great Marquis of Hell and has thirty legions of demons under his command. He has many talents, as described in the Ars Goetia and Lesser Key. I have added my interpretation (correct or incorrect) of each talent.
1) Orias knows and teaches all forms of divination, and is the protector of astrologists and diviners. Divination is the practice of obtaining information by supernatural means such as scrying, looking into a mirror or crystal ball, etc. It's like a more formal fortune-telling. He is known as "Demon of divination" so this may be one of his more important talents.
2) He knows and teaches the virtues of the stars and the mansions of the planets (the influence of each planet depending on the astrological sign it is in in a specific moment or birth date).
3) He gives dignities, prelacies, places, confirmations. He helps in gaining respect and in securing positions of high esteem. He would be a helpful Demon for job interviews, promotions, or looking good in front of important people. Raises your rank and power, especially in the church.
4) He gives the favor of friends and foes. So he has the power to make people, who are mad at or dislike you, forgive and like you. Friends approve of you and want to be with you. I have also read that this forces any foe to obey you, but I am not sure about this.
5) He can metamorphose a man into any shape. I have read this is figurative, but other sources say he can actually transform you physically, like shift-shaping.

"Oriax is all about stars, learning about yourself, and making friends. More specifically, he seems very focused on horoscopes and understanding birth charts, removing all ill feelings from yourself, be it physically or mentally, and helping you out in general."
I am unsure how to correctly pronounce his name. He may be the Egyptian God Osiris, so I prefer to pronounce Orias "Oh-rih-us" although others pronounce it "Ore-e-us." One account, that I can't currently find, said that Orias himself said it is pronounce "Ay-re-aks." So maybe he prefers Oriax over Orias. I use Orias on my site, since most of the information you find on him uses Orias.

Appearance:
He has been described as a lion that holds two great serpents in his right hand with a snake's tail, riding a mighty horse. Others say he appears as a man with a lion's face. I've also read that he has serpents as arms. One account of him appearing as an African man, although I need to find that reference.
My experience with Orias:
I was immediately drawn to Orias after reading about him. However I chose to invoke him rather than summon/evoke him. I'd like to have positive feelings between us. If you are researching Geotic demons, you may also find yourself drawn to one or more Demons.
I have done 5 invocation rituals in an attempt to contract with him. I have not yet been successful in my ultimate goal, but plan to continue invocation and adjust the contract details. The image of him seems rather intimidating, but I felt completely at ease during the rituals. I will continue to update this page as my journey continues.
